David McCullough, founded Central Alabama Firearms Training with the late Drew Demaray .   He has competed with firearms almost his entire life and was the Captain of the Rifle and Pistol Team at a military academy in Virginia. As a United States Marine, he spent 13 months overseas as the Weapons and Training NCO in a Quick Reactionary Force Marine Detachment aboard a Guided Missile Cruiser.  In the Marines he maintained Marine Expert Rifle and Pistol ratings.

In the NRA he has a Distinguished Expert Rating in Rifle and Pistol and is a NRA Winchester Distinguished Expert in Pistol.
